You never know where you’ll find inspiration for music!
Jarbas Agnelli made music out of pictures of birds on a wire, using the placement of the birds as the exact location of musical notes. The musical result has become an icon of how harmony is found naturally in nature. Jarbas was fascinated with the melody that the birds created via their placement on the wires, which were strung along like lines on a music sheet. He sent this music to a photographer named Paulo Pinto and the story was then told to a reporter and wound up as a story in the newspaper. In the end this music produces a melodic song that is playable via instruments—ran its course and wound up the Winner of the YouTube Play Guggenheim biennial Festival.
